Change to the format of HSC Italian and Spanish Extension Examination Papers from 2005
BOS 09/05
As a result of the inclusion of a second text in the prescription for the Higher School Certificate courses in Italian Extension (Board Bulletin Official Notice BOS 41/04, Vol 13 No 5, September 2004) and Spanish Extension (Board Bulletin Official Notice BOS 29/04, Vol 13 No 3, June 2004), the format for Section I of the examination paper for both courses will change from 2005. The format will be similar to that of the current HSC French Extension examination, which also has two prescribed texts. A copy of the front page of both examination papers has been placed on the Board of Studies website.
The format for Section I of the examination will take the following form:
Text 1
Part A - 15 marks
- Attempt Question 1
Part B - 10 marks
- Attempt Question 2
Text 2
Part A - 15 marks
- Attempt Question 3
- Attempt Question 4
Effective: 2005 HSC examination
