VET Course numbers for 2009
Did you know you can find the BOS course numbers for all VET courses through the Vocational Education page of the Board's website?
Industry curriculum framework course numbers are found in the summary table of 2009 Preliminary and HSC ICF course numbers on the VET Curriculum Framework page. This table lists the course number for each course available according to the pattern of study for delivery. The answers to Frequently Asked Questions about industry curriculum framework course numbers are also available.
To work out which industry curriculum framework course number to use, follow these steps:
- identify the cohort (Preliminary or HSC)
- select the industry curriculum framework
- identify the course being delivered (eg 240-hour course)
- select the industry curriculum framework
- select the appropriate pattern of study (eg 2 units x 2 years where the 240-hour course is being delivered over Years 11 and 12)
- identify the course number listed to enter students in Schools Online.
Course numbers for all VET Board Endorsed Courses are found in the Stage 5 and Stage 6 course descriptions for each course. Students should be enrolled in the course number that reflects the pattern of study they are doing.
