REMINDER! 2008 Annual Reports from non-government schools
Republished as a reminder of due dates for annual reports.
BOS 07/09
Every non-government school must produce a 2008 annual report and disclose it publicly by 30 June 2009. Ideally, the annual report will be published on the school's website.
The school must also submit an electronic copy of its annual report to the Board of Studies by 30 June 2009.
The annual reporting requirements, including the specific performance measures the report must address, are described in section 3.10.1 of the Registered and Accredited Individual Non-government Schools (NSW) Manual and section 5.10.1 of the Registration Systems and Member Non-government Schools (NSW) Manual. The most up-to-date manuals are on the Board's website.
When a school submits its annual report to the Board, it does so through the Board's registration website (RANGS Online) using the school's unique User ID and PIN/Password. If you need assistance with your school's User ID or PIN/Password, or you need to apply for an online account for your school, please call George Kelen, Senior Registration Officer on (02) 9367 8280. For schools belonging to registration systems the process for submitting electronic annual reports to the Board varies. Each system will advise its member schools of the process to be followed.
Non-government schools operating for the first time in 2009 are not required to produce or publicly disclose an annual report for the 2008 school year.
