Getting Ready for the 2011 HSC

2011 HSC Rules and Procedures

Copies of the Rules and Procedures for 2011 Higher School Certificate Candidates booklet have been sent to schools. Principals are reminded to provide a booklet to all 2011 HSC candidates.

The main rules and requirements for the award of a Higher School Certificate are set out in this booklet.

Candidates will be required to certify that they have read the Rules and Procedures when they sign their HSC Confirmation of Entry for 2011.

HSC: All My own Work

Schools are reminded that all students must complete HSC: All My Own Work or its equivalent before any 2011 Preliminary or HSC course entries can be submitted through Schools Online. See Official Notice BOS 51/09.

Students entered only for Stage 6 Life Skills courses are exempt from this requirement. See Official Notice BOS 43/09.

Satisfactory completion of the program must be recorded for each student using the ‘HSC: All My Own Work Completion’ function under ‘Data Collection’ within Schools Online before submitting Preliminary and HSC course entries.

Schools that deliver the program during Year 10 are able to record completion of HSC: All My Own Work alongside students’ School Certificate entries.

Read more about HSC: All My Own Work and the options schools have for delivering the program in the comprehensive Program Guide to HSC: All My Own Work.
