ARTEXPRESS: Nomination letters were sent to students and their schools on 10 November. Nominated students must log in to the Students Online website to submit an online nomination form by Friday 26 November. Final selection letters will be sent in early December.

ARTEXPRESS will open in Sydney in February 2011.

Callback: Letters were sent to all nominated students on 10 November. Nominated students have been asked to forward a DVD of their nominated work/s and a CD of the musical accompaniment to Callback by Friday 19 November. Students and schools will be advised of final selections in early December.

Callback will be held in early February 2011 at a Sydney venue to be confirmed.

DesignTECH: Letters were sent to all nominated students and their schools on 10 November. Nominated students must log in to the Students Online website to submit an online nomination form and digital images of their project by Friday 19 November. Students will be advised of the outcome after 26 November.

DesignTECH will open at the Powerhouse Museum, Sydney on 19 February 2011.

ENCORE: Nominations will close on Friday 19 November. Selection letters will be sent to students and schools in early December.

Encore will be held at the Sydney Opera House on 7 February 2011.

OnSTAGE: Selection letters will be sent to all nominated individual and group performers and to students whose projects have been selected for exhibition in the week beginning 15 November. Schools will also receive written notification.

OnSTAGE will be held at the Seymour Centre 5-11 February 2011.

Texstyle: Final selection letters were sent to students and schools on 10 November.

Texstyle exhibits at Federation House Sydney 29 November-5 December.

Young Writers Showcase: Students who have been shortlisted for inclusion in the Young Writers Showcase will be advised in the week beginning 20 December.

Students, parents and school staff are reminded that nomination for an HSC showcase does not indicate a particular mark for the student's major work or performance. There are many factors involved in final selection for a showcase event or exhibition such as the ability to transport a major project and the need to show a mix of performances or projects that demonstrate the scope of the relevant syllabus. Most importantly, there are limits on the number of performances or works that can be included in any one year. Inevitably, there are many outstanding students who are not nominated or, having been nominated, are not selected for the final showcase.
