New Asian Heritage Language syllabuses for NSW HSC

NSW will introduce new national heritage language syllabuses in Chinese (Mandarin), Japanese, Indonesian and Korean for Year 11 students next year. The first Higher School Certificate (HSC) exams will occur in 2012.

The four syllabuses are the result of a shared national project between the states, led by the NSW Board of Studies on behalf of the Australasian Curriculum, Assessment and Certification Authorities (ACACA).
