The newly published resources for School Certificate tests, including answers to multiple choice questions, marking guidelines, sample answers and mapping grids are useful support materials for teachers and students.

Marking guidelines are developed by the test committee and show the criteria associated with each mark or mark range for every question.

Sample answers are also developed by the test committee to ensure the questions effectively assess students’ knowledge and skills. They also provide advice to the Supervisor of Marking about the nature and scope of the responses expected.

The mapping grids track each question in the test to syllabus outcomes and content.
