The revised stage 6 Primary Industries Curriculum Framework syllabus is now available.

The existing Primary Industries Curriculum Framework has been revised following the endorsement of a new Agriculture, Horticulture and Conservation and Land Management (AHC10) Training Package.

Implementation of the revised Primary Industries Curriculum Framework syllabus will commence in 2012.

The first Primary Industries HSC examination based on the revised syllabus will be conducted in 2013.

Key features of the revised syllabus include:

• access to Certificate II VET qualifications in Agriculture, Production Horticulture, Horticulture, Parks and Gardens, Production Nursery, Retail Nursery, Sports Turf Management, Conservation and Land Management, Rural Operations, Shearing, Wool Handling, Floriculture and Landscaping
• access to Certificate III VET qualifications in Agriculture, Horse Breeding, Horticulture, Parks and Gardens and Rural Operations
• simplified syllabus format
• new format for describing the HSC Content.
