Official Notice: Amendments to School Registration manuals

Who needs to read this notice:
Principals and proprietors of non-government schools
Representatives of systems of non-government schools
The Registered and Accredited Individual Non-government Schools (NSW) Manual and the Registration Systems and Member Non-government Schools (NSW) Manual have been amended.
The amendments take effect with the publication of this Official Notice.
The amendments to the manuals are in response to:
- delegations from the Minister for Education regarding attendance
- the introduction of a common code for recording attendance
- updated references to child protection legislation
- updated evidence of compliance for the requirement for teaching staff
- a range of minor edits.
Tracked changes of the amended sections of the manuals are available in the ‘Reference Section’ of the Registration and Accreditation of Non-government Schools (RANGS) website.
Please note that the web versions of the manuals are the most up-to-date manuals at any time.
