To help with the planning for HSC marking, schools are asked to complete the HSC Electives surveys on Schools Online.

Each year, the Board collects data on the numbers of students studying various texts, electives, options and topics in a range of HSC courses. This information is critical to the organisation of HSC marking. For each course, the number of students studying each text, elective, option or topic listed is required. A contact person for each course is also required in the event the Board needs clarification.

The Electives surveys can be found under Data Collection in Schools Online. Only courses for which your school has students enrolled will appear. Principals can add the survey function to the profile of an appropriate staff member. Further information on completing the Electives Survey is available under Memos and Documents.

English surveys need to be completed by Friday 17 June 2011. The deadline for all other surveys is Friday 1 July 2011.
