The stage 6 Human Services Curriculum Framework syllabus has been updated to the latest versions of the Community Services Training Package (CHC08v3) and the Health Training Package (HLT07v4).

Implementation of the updated syllabus will commence in 2012.

Changes to the syllabus include:

• version change to examinable units of competency including Recognise healthy body systems in a health care context, Apply first aid, Work effectively with culturally diverse clients and co-workers, Comply with infection control policies and procedures, Follow safety procedures for direct care work, Participate in OHS processes, Work effectively in the community sector and Communicate and work effectively in health
• version changes to some other elective units of competency
• deletion of superseded versions of elective units of competency imported from the Business Services Training Package (BSB01).

These changes have no impact on the HSC Content detailed in Section 3 of the Syllabus.
