Official Notice: Amendment to the existing Stage 6 Information Technology Curriculum Framework syllabus for 2013

The existing Information Technology Curriculum Framework has been amended to allow students to access units of competency from the new ICA11 Training Package in 2013.
Students completing the Information Technology (240 indicative hours) course in 2013 who achieve ICA11 units of competency, would be eligible for a Statement of Attainment towards Certificate III in Information, Digital Media and Technology (ICA30111). They will also be eligible to sit for the Information Technology HSC examination in 2013 and count the results from their examination towards their Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR).
Schools and colleges should consult with the Registered Training Organisation (RTO) delivering courses from the Information Technology Curriculum Framework to their students in 2013.
