The annual HSC advisory bulletin is now available. The bulletin provides general advice for all HSC teachers to share with their Year 11 and 12 students.

It highlights some of the issues that were raised during the 2011 examinations and gives information relating to:

• labelling writing booklets
• examinations with question restrictions
• languages oral examinations
• question formats
• multiple-choice questions
• using prepared responses
• using black pen
• requirements for major projects and performances
• student entries for VET examinations
• applications for disability provisions
• illness/misadventure
• breaches of examination rules
• non-serious attempts and non-attempts in examination rooms
• alerts for changed examination specifications in 2012.
