Applications for 2013 HSC examination development positions are now open.

Teachers and academics with appropriate experience and qualifications are invited to apply to take part in the development of the 2013 HSC examinations. Setting or assessing HSC examinations is a rewarding and challenging experience that provides a positive contribution to professional development. It is an opportunity to further develop understanding of assessment techniques and to enhance skills in setting examinations.

Chief examiners, committee members and assessors cannot teach the HSC course/s for which they are applying in 2013, or be closely related to someone sitting the examination in 2013.

Applications close on the following dates:

• Chief examiner applications Friday, 29 June 2012
• Committee member applications Friday, 24 August 2012
• Assessor applications Friday, 23 November 2012
