The updated Assessment Certification Examination (ACE) website includes Years 7–10 curriculum requirements and the policy changes related to the Record of School Achievement (RoSA) for the 2012 Year 10 cohort.

The update revises and/or replaces the following sections of the 2005 Assessment, Certification and Examination (ACE) Manual:

• Section 2 Courses for Years 7–10 (Stages 4–5);
• Section 3 Years 7–10 courses based on Life Skills outcomes and content for students with special education needs;
• Section 4 Requirements for the School Certificate;
• Section 5 School Certificate Procedures; and
• Section 11 School Certificate and Higher School Certificate Appeals

The updated ACE provides schools with easily accessible, current information on RoSA eligibility, requirements and credentialling in Stage 5.

The ACE revision includes minor variations to streamline existing policy, most notably relating to entries and submission of grades for students completing 100-hour courses in Year 9, simplified procedures for granting leave by school principals and procedures for the submission of appeals against grades in Stage 5.
