Official Notice: Amendments to Stage 6 CCAFL Continuers HSC examination specifications

The Stage 6 CCAFL Continuers HSC examination specifications for Armenian, Croatian, Dutch, Filipino, Hindi, Hungarian, Khmer, Macedonian, Maltese, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Serbian, Swedish, Tamil, Turkish and Ukrainian have been amended.

The amended examination specifications will apply from the 2015 HSC.

The amendments redefine the word limit and allow for a small variation in the number of texts in Reading and Responding, Part A, as indicated.

The amendments take into consideration the recent reduction in the weighting of this section from 20% to 10% and provide additional flexibility in relation to the setting of this question in the external examination.

The amended Stage 6 CCAFL Continuers syllabuses, and assessment and examination materials for Armenian, Croatian, Dutch, Filipino, Hindi, Hungarian, Khmer, Macedonian, Maltese, Polish, Portuguese, Russian (from 2015), Serbian, Swedish, Tamil, Turkish and Ukrainian are available to download from the language syllabus section of the Board’s website.
