When Year 9 and 10 students occupy the same class and follow the same program, the presence of Year 9 students determines that all students in that class follow the new K-10 syllabuses in 2014.

However Schools Online will not start to collect data from the new syllabuses until 2015. Submission of data for Year 10 students who have been taught from the new syllabuses this year will therefore be made in relation to the original Life Skills outcomes.

To assist schools with Schools Online data entry for 2014, information sheets have been developed aligning the new Life Skills outcomes and the original Life Skills outcomes. These information sheets can be accessed via Schools Online > Downloads > Memos and Documents > Year 10 (Stage 5) folder.

Please note there may not be an exact match and schools are asked to use their professional judgement.
