Support materials for students who require adjustments in their learning of literacy
The online resource, English K-6 Support Materials for Students with Special Education Needs, is available on the BOSTES K-6 website. The materials provide advice and strategies for teachers to assist students who are experiencing difficulties with aspects of literacy including:
- comprehending oral and written language
- vocabulary
- speech production
- decoding
- sentence and text construction
- handwriting
- spelling
- initiating and sustaining communication
To access these resources, you will be required to register. Registration for NSW teachers is free. There is a one-off fee for interstate and international users.
