Official Notice: Update to the Stage 6 Construction Curriculum Framework

The Stage 6 Construction Curriculum Framework has been updated to align with version 9 of the CPC08 Training Package.
The amendments do not alter the HSC course structures or HSC requirements and advice.
Changes include:
- version updates to, or replacement of, HSC elective units of competency
- a qualification code change for the new Certificate III in Concreting.
Details of the amendments are outlined in the Construction Modification History. The updated syllabus document is available on the BOSTES website.
The updated units of competency and qualification packaging rules are available for download at http://training.gov.au.
The updated syllabus can be implemented with students who commence study in 2014.
If you have students continuing study in 2014, contact the Registered Training Organisation for advice on whether they will continue with courses based on version 7, version 8 or version 9 of the CPC08 Training Package.
