Principals or NAPLAN coordinators must ensure all requests for NAPLAN special print test materials, excluding black and white masters, are forwarded to the Board of Studies, Teaching and Educational Standards (BOSTES) by Friday, 28 March.

The NAPLAN tests are available in the following alternate formats:

• large print – in three different font sizes (18 pt, 24 pt and 36 pt) on A3 or A4 paper;
• braille;
• electronic test – for students with severe physical or vision disabilities who are unable to access a pencil and paper test using any of the other disability adjustments; and
• black and white.

All schools are sent a set of black and white masters for each cohort, so these materials do not need to be pre-ordered from BOSTES.

Order forms for large print, braille and electronic test materials and the parent-carer consent forms for access to disability adjustments can be downloaded from the BOSTES NAPLAN webpage.
