The Handbook for Principals for the 2014 NAPLAN program was delivered to all NSW schools in the last week of February.

Documents to support schools in the administration of NAPLAN are now available on the BOSTES website.

They include:

• a letter for parents;
• consent forms for exemption/parent withdrawal and access to disability adjustments;
• order forms for special print materials;
• application forms to use a scribe or computer.

Schools must inform parents about the 2014 NAPLAN tests by 23 April.

Additional information for parents and carers can be found on the ACARA NAPLAN website. Schools may choose to download the ACARA 2014 NAPLAN information brochure to distribute it to parents and carers or provide it as a link in their online communications.
