New submission requirements for English Extension 2 Major Works

Schools are no longer required to submit English Extension 2 Major Work Journals to the marking centre.

Students will continue to hand in the Major Work Journal to the supervising teacher, together with the Major Work and Reflection Statement. This needs to be done by 3pm on Friday 15 August.

The Major Works and Reflection Statements are to be submitted to BOSTES by Wednesday 20 August. Identification cards and address labels will be posted to schools in July.

Schools are required to keep the journals, as well as a copy of each Major Work and Reflection Statement, until the release of HSC results on Wednesday 17 December. If a student’s journal is required during the marking process a BOSTES officer will arrange for its collection and return it directly to the school.

In 2014 Major Works and Reflection Statements will no longer be returned to schools after marking.

More specific information will be available in Schools Online > Memos and Documents > HSC Practical Examinations Advice in July.
