Schools Online closing for changes to HSC entries

Preparation for the 2014 HSC written and practical examinations are well underway. As late changes to course entries can have a significant impact on practical examination scheduling and the production of written examination papers, all schools are required to review the following actions before the end of Term 2:

  • Ensure that any late corrections, alterations or withdrawals to course entries, especially Extension courses, have been updated on Schools Online
  • Ensure that all VET students who intend to sit the exam, including those studying at TAFE or outside private provider, have been enrolled into the optional HSC examination
  • Ensure that all students undertaking HSC Mathematics General 1 course (CEC) have been checked to ensure they are not in breach of Board Developed Course unit HSC eligibility requirements
  • Schools delivering any HSC course via a compression model must check that both the 2014 Year 11 (Preliminary) and 2014 Year 12 (HSC) entry records have been correctly set up to reflect the examinations being undertaken this year.

The closing date for changes to HSC student entries is Monday 30 June.

Changes can be made by the School via Schools Online > Enrolments > Change a Student Enrolment, or Schools Online > Browse > Student Enrolments/Results. Note that courses with a practical examination component can no longer be changed via Schools Online, as practical examination scheduling has commenced. If such a change is required, please contact the Student Records Team.
