BOSTES has launched two new features for Program Builder: to enable teachers to integrate Scootle resources, and to identify BOSTES syllabus outcomes and content covered in programs and units.

The features mean:

• Teachers can now integrate resources from the Education Services Australia (ESA) Scootle resource repository within units. Search options for resources include by BOSTES syllabus outcome code or by keyword. Information about each resource including name, subject, description, link and icon are automatically added to the unit.
• This coverage report will provide the details of outcomes addressed in each program and unit in a Microsoft Word format. The report also identifies the syllabus content "group" and related content. A summary report is available for up to four programs, for multiple units or unit by unit breakdowns.

This project has involved ESA, the NSW Department of Education and Communities and BOSTES to link NSW syllabuses with national systems to provide all NSW teachers with access to national resources.
