Applications for disability provisions for the 2015 HSC examinations are now open for students entered in Preliminary courses in 2014.

BOSTES will provide decisions as early as possible for these applications. With the early approval of disability provisions, students can enter Year 12 with confidence and certainty about their provisions. They also have an extended opportunity to practise the effective use of provisions such as a writer or rest breaks. Principals may decide to approve the same provisions for HSC internal assessment tasks.

Teachers with Schools Online access authorised by their principal may lodge online applications on behalf of students. After opening the folder ‘Work with Disability Provisions’ the calendar year should be set to 2014 and the cohort to HSC (Preliminary). From Term 4, disability provisions applications should be entered against 2015 HSC (Year 12) students, once entered for the HSC by the school. Files opened in Term 3 should be submitted in Term 3. Any such applications not submitted by Term 4 will be deleted as the 2015 Year 12 process will apply.
