The document English Stage 6 Prescriptions: Area of Study, Electives and Texts - Higher School Certificate 2015-2020, was released in July 2013. BOSTES has since been advised of a number of changes to editions of texts listed in that document, as detailed below.
An updated version of the full Prescriptions document, incorporating these changes, is available on the BOSTES website.
If the specified edition is unavailable, schools may use any suitable edition of the text. Where a text is quoted in an examination question, it will be from the listed edition.
