Consultation on the draft Geography K–10 syllabus is underway with over 300 people registered for meetings in regional and metropolitan NSW.

Primary and secondary teachers are encouraged to register for one of the remaining consultation meetings, where teachers will have the opportunity to discuss the features and content of the draft syllabus. Registrations close the day prior to each meeting.

Participation at a consultation meeting will contribute two hours towards registered professional development for proficient teacher accreditation.

The draft syllabus, registration for consultation meetings and access to the online survey are available on the BOSTES website.

Consultation ends Friday 29 August.
