The Sydney Writers' Festival is hosting a number of events and activities for children, that may also be of interest to teachers, in November.

These include:

• Jeff Kinney and Andy Griffiths Live on Stage City Recital Hall, 12-2pm Sunday 8 November. More information and tickets
• Mem Fox and Judy Horacek: This and That at the Bryan Brown Theatre, 6-7pm Thursday 20 November. Discounted $10 tickets (plus booking fee) are available for teachers. Just use the code word ‘STUDIES’ when booking.  More information and tickets
• Russ the Story Bus, the Sydney Writers’ Festival mobile book swap is travelling to schools, libraries and public spaces throughout November as part of the Children’s Festival of Moving Stories
• My Story: Sydney Writers’ Festival is inviting children aged 5 to 18 from across Greater Western Sydney to share their story online.
