Provision of CD players for 2015 HSC Heritage Language Examinations

Students enrolled in the HSC Heritage language courses in Chinese, Indonesian, Japanese and Korean no longer need an individual CD player for the written examinations.

As with Beginners, Continuers and Extension language courses, one CD player is required per exam room for Heritage examinations.

The principal (or delegate) should liaise with the presiding officer to ensure there are enough CD players for each exam, with at least one spare CD player (for emergencies). CD players should be checked by a teacher (or technician) with the presiding officer before each listening exam to ensure they work.

Further information will be sent to principals and presiding officers later in the year.
