RoSA literacy and numeracy tests: new diagnostic reports

BOSTES has developed and implemented new diagnostic reports to enhance the reporting of its literacy and numeracy tests for students planning to leave school before the HSC.

The new diagnostic reports provide item level information about the student’s performance in the tests, and can assist in identifying areas of strength and weakness.

Sample literacy and numeracy test reports, including diagnostic reports, are available on the BOSTES website.

The computer-adaptive literacy and numeracy tests are available on any school day organised by the student’s school. The tests focus on the literacy and numeracy skills required by school leavers for employment and further education. Test results are available to students and their teachers immediately on completion, and the enhanced reports are available via Students and Schools Online.

More information is available on the BOSTES website.
