All school staff can now log in to Schools Online, the Board of Studies' secure web portal for NSW education professionals.

Having undergone a major redesign it hosts a much broader range of services for teachers and schools.

Staff can use Schools Online to filter content from the Board's website, setting up fast and easy access to their syllabuses, past exam papers and support materials. Or they can join in the new blog and discuss curriculum matters with Board officers.

To start using the new site staff who haven’t used Schools Online need to complete the sign up form on the Schools Online homepage.

Once the sign up request is submitted it is automatically forwarded to the school principal for authentication. Staff need to give their verification code to their principal to confirm the sign up request is authentic.

Staff who already have a Schools Online log in can use all the new features and continue to manage information for the School Certificate and HSC through the new tab Schools Online (Administration.) This can be found on the Board’s home page or under Services on the Schools Online website.

Teachers registered to use Markers Online can use their Markers Online log in and password on Schools Online. Markers Online can be found on the Board’s home page or under Services on the Schools Online home page.

All principals should have received an email outlining the improvements and explaining how staff can sign up to Schools Online.
