HSC Biology exam question 8: update

The Board has decided to accept two of the four answers to the multiple-choice question 8, in this year’s HSC biology paper, as correct.

This means students who answered (b) Killer T cells or (d) Cytotoxic T cells in response to the question 'What type of cells destroy virally infected cells?' will receive one mark.

A technical committee will now decide if any further action is required.

The Board will release a review of the 2011 HSC exams in the first quarter of 2012.

The 2010 HSC in Review is currently online.
