Schools are advised that the Stage 6 Drama Course Prescriptions 2010–2012 will be extended until the conclusion of the 2014 Higher School Certificate. Minor amendments to the Course Prescriptions will be published in late 2011.

Schools are reminded that the study of texts prescribed in any course for the Higher School Certificate examination may not begin before the completion of the Preliminary course. 'Study' of texts does not apply to attending performances during the Preliminary course of plays prescribed as HSC texts or to taking part in the production of those plays.

The current Stage 6 Drama Course Prescriptions 2010-2012 are outlined in full and available to download from the HSC Drama syllabus page of the Board’s website.
