To assist schools in moderating their Stage 5 grades, the Board has developed a guide to awarding grades and a PowerPoint presentation: How to use the grade monitoring support materials.

Each school’s historic pattern of grades is accessible via Schools Online > Data Collection > Grades. Schools are encouraged to view each course pattern and engage with the available support material.

When grades for the current year are entered, a new column will appear, allowing a comparison of the current grade pattern with the historical pattern.

Once Stage 5 grades have been submitted, the principal’s electronic certification must be completed via Schools Online to verify that the school data supplied to the Board is accurate and complete.
