BOSTES will present a range of professional development workshops in Term 4, 2014. The workshops are endorsed as providing nominated hours of registered professional development depending on their duration.

Term 4 workshops include:

BOSTES New and Aspiring Executive Workshop – 3 hours

This workshop highlights policies and procedures in relation to the delivery of the BOSTES syllabuses for Years 7 to 12 including programming, assessment and reporting.

BOSTES Information Workshop – 6 hours

This workshop is for teachers implementing processes for assessing and credentialling students in Years 10, 11 and 12.

Topics include: curriculum requirements for the RoSA, Preliminary and HSC courses, ATAR, Grading and Assessment including HSC Moderations, ‘N’ Determinations, Disability Provisions, Illness/Misadventure and Students with Special Education Needs.
