As primary schools implement the four new syllabuses - English, Mathematics, History and Science and Technology - many teachers are taking advantage of the BOSTES Program Builder tool.

Having recently taken up the role of Inspector, Primary, from my former role as Principal at Pymble Public School, I have been impressed with the scope and sequence feature of Program Builder. It allows users to design a scope and sequence for their school that links the syllabus outcomes to the planned units of work.

The Program Builder website provides samples that you can start with or allows users to develop their own program. There are also introductory help videos to guide new users.
