The English and Mathematics K–6 support materials for students with special education needs have been updated to reflect the K–6 outcomes of the new English and Mathematics K–10 syllabuses.

The online K-6 support materials provide information and advice for teachers to support students experiencing difficulties with English and Mathematics.

The materials include:
· information about the types of difficulties students may experience in reading, writing, speaking, communicating and numeracy
· tools to assess students’ progress in a variety of literacy and numeracy skills
· strategies to assist students experiencing difficulty
· case studies and videos illustrating the strategies in action

The English and Mathematics K–6 support materials for students with special education needs can be accessed from the BOSTES K–6 website.
