Official Notice - HSC: All My Own Work - Exemption for students undertaking only Stage 6 Life Skills courses

BOS 43/09

From 2010, students entered only for Stage 6 Life Skills courses will be exempt from the requirement to complete HSC: All My Own Work.

This change follows a Board review of the requirement that all students undertaking Preliminary or HSC courses must complete the HSC: All My Own Work program (or its equivalent) before the submission of students' Preliminary or HSC course entries.

While completion of the program will no longer be required for students undertaking only Stage 6 Life Skills courses, schools may determine that the program or an equivalent is appropriate for some of these students based on their priorities, learning and support needs.

All other students, including those studying any combination of Life Skills courses and other courses, must complete HSC: All My Own Work or an equivalent. Completion of this requirement should be certified by principals using the Data Collection function on Schools Online.
