Students celebrate end of HSC

The 2010 Higher School Certificate examinations finish today with more than 15,000 students completing their final exams this afternoon.

French Extension, Japanese Extension, Senior Science, Spanish Extension and Visual Arts were this year’s final exams.

The Class of 2010 now have five days from this afternoon to log-in to the Students Online website to check their assessment rank for each of their HSC courses.

Students can also give feedback on their HSC courses by completing the annual HSC Student Survey online.

HSC results will be available online, by SMS or telephone from 6.00 am on Wednesday 15 December.

Anyone with questions about the way HSC marks are calculated can read How Your HSC Works and the HSC Inquiry Centre will open on 15 December. Experienced Board of Studies officers will be available to answer students' questions. The HSC Inquiry Centre can be reached on 13 11 12 for the cost of a local call.

Two-thirds of School Certificate students completed the online Computing Skills Test today. 57,879 students sat the test today, the remaining 30,000 students will sit the test progressively on Thursday and Friday. This is the first year that it is compulsory for all students to complete the Computing Skills Test online.

Year 10 students will receive their School Certificate documents in early December.
