HSC Advisory Bulletin 2010 released
The Board has published its first annual HSC advisory bulletin. The purpose of this annual bulletin is to provide general advice to teachers of all Higher School Certificate courses to share with their Year 12 and Year 11 students. It provides a summary of the 2009 exams and gives information on issues relating to:
- 2010 HSC examination specifications
- using the glossary of key words
- question formats
- multiple choice questions
- use of stimulus material
- managing difficult questions
- student entries for VET exams
- acceptable behaviour in exam rooms
- requirements for projects and performances
- non-serious and non-attempts in exams
- applications for special examination provisions
- breaches of examination rules and malpractice
- illness/misadventure.
