Stage 6 English Studies pilot extended to all secondary schools in 2011
The Board is conducting a pilot study of the Stage 6 Content Endorsed Course English Studies with a number of approved schools this year. In 2011 all secondary schools will be able to join the pilot study and offer English Studies to their Preliminary students.
Students who participate in the pilot and satisfactorily complete Stage 6 English Studies will fulfil English requirements for the Higher School Certificate. The course will also count towards the 6 units of Board Developed Courses required for the award of the HSC.
The course does not count towards the ATAR.
