Register as a VET curriculum writer

The Board of Studies, NSW is updating its register of Vocational Education and Training (VET) curriculum writers and reviewers to assist with curriculum development and review. The register is used to select writers and reviewers to undertake tasks throughout the year.

People with experience writing and reviewing syllabuses, support materials, and samples or units of work are invited to submit an expression of interest for inclusion on the register.

Projects anticipated for 2011-12 require writers with expertise in:

  • Electrotechnology
  • Financial Services
  • Information Technology
  • Metal and Engineering
  • Primary Industries
  • Retail Services

People with expertise in industry areas covered by the other Industry Curriculum Frameworks are also invited to submit an expression of interest for the register.

Please submit a new expression of interest if you have sent one in previous years to ensure your details are current.

Expressions of interest and accompanying statements of support are due:

  • Financial Services and Primary Industries - Friday 4 March 2011
  • All other industry areas - Friday 8 April 2011.
