Optional online scheduling for HSC Languages Oral exams

Following a successful small-scale trial in 2010, all language teachers have the option of scheduling their students’ 2011 HSC oral exams through Schools Online Administration. Teachers can choose from a range of fixed times and, in some cases, alternative venues.

This feature gives teachers the flexibility to coordinate their students’ exam attendance, and offers students a choice of times so they can work around their other Saturday commitments.

Once teachers have selected their students’ schedule through Schools Online and confirmed the details are correct, they will be able to print a summary page of their students’ examination details from Schools Online.

Students will also be able to download their student advice letter and relevant venue location maps through Students Online.

The online scheduling facility will open on Wednesday 1 June 2011 and close Friday 24 June 2011. Detailed instructions of the scheduling process will be available on Schools Online before the facility opens.

The students of those schools who choose not to use this facility will have their exams scheduled by the Board of Studies.
