The Board is holding three video conferences for teachers during term 2. These conferences are a convenient way for teachers to hear the latest information from the Board and participation can count towards Teacher Identified Professional Development hours.

Term 2 program
Wednesday 25 May – Schools Online and the role of the senior executive
This program will explore the expanded functions of Schools Online and how responsibilities and information can be shared with other school staff. Target audience: principals and executives and interested teachers.

Wednesday 15 June – Presenting a Year 10 to 11 subject selection night
This session will consider important information for Year 10 students choosing subjects for their senior years. Presenters will use a PowerPoint presentation that will be available to all schools. Target audience: executive, curriculum co-ordinators and year advisors.

Wednesday 22 June – Understanding HSC assessment and credentialling
This session will provide information on the role of HSC assessment, the Board's procedures in reporting student achievement and credentialling. The moderation of assessment marks and the standard setting procedure will be addressed. Target audience: executive, curriculum co-ordinators and teachers.

All sessions start at 3.45pm, with log in commencing at 3.30pm, and run for around 45 minutes. Questions can be emailed or sent by SMS prior to or during the video conference.
