Draft syllabus consultation travels far and wide

The Board’s consultation on the draft K-10 syllabuses reached the far west of NSW recently, with teachers from eight local primary and secondary schools, including Broken Hill School of the Air, attending the Broken Hill meeting.

Three schools in other remote areas were also able to contribute to the discussion via video conference.

Teachers provided their views about the draft Mathematics syllabus to the Board’s Mathematics Education Officer, Emma Campbell.

The online survey for Mathematics, Science and History will remain open until 22 August.

Registrations are still open for the English consultation meetings and the online English survey will be available until 16 September.
