The HSC Results Analysis Package (RAP) will be available from 19 December to help schools analyse their 2012 HSC results. The package has been enhanced to allow for easier delegation and access for teachers. The package also allows for improved data analysis and extraction.

Teachers can compare their school's performance in a course to the performance of the state candidature on either a whole course mark or performance band basis, and also on a question basis.

Students’ HSC statistics for each course – school assessment, moderated assessment and exam marks – can be viewed on one screen and data can be exported to a spreadsheet for further analysis.

There is now the ability to combine questions in a course to see how students have addressed particular concepts. An item analysis report for an entire course, including multiple choice, is another enhancement to the package.
