Chinese delegation - Bei Fang University of Nationalities

On 12 June 2012 the Board of Studies NSW hosted a Chinese delegation from Yinchuan's Bei Fang University of Nationalities.

The group consisted of eight Division Chiefs, five Deans of Faculty and five Professors from Bei Fang University of Nationalities. The purpose of the visit was to gain knowledge of the NSW curriculum, teaching resources, examination processes and credentialing – focusing on the management of innovative, quality education and teaching.

Board of Studies NSW Chief Executive, Carol Taylor and the Director, Curriculum and Assessment, Paul Hewitt welcomed the delegation before a series of presentations were made by Board officers.

The Board receives several invitations every year to host international delegations or study groups seeking to learn more about education systems in NSW and the Board’s role in syllabus development, examinations and credentialing.
