Entering Stage 6 Life Skills outcomes for the HSC profile of student achievement

Students undertaking at least one Stage 6 Life Skills course will receive a Profile of Student Achievement with their Higher School Certificate credentials.

The Profile reports the outcomes that the student has achieved, either independently or with support, in each Stage 6 Life Skills course that has been satisfactorily completed.

Using Schools Online schools are required to record outcomes achieved. When recording outcomes, teachers will now be presented with three options:

  • Not applicable - outcomes that have not been addressed in the teaching and learning program OR that the student has not achieved.
  • Achieved - outcomes that have been achieved independently or with adjustments required to demonstrate achievement on the same basis as their peers.
  • Achieved with support - outcomes that have been achieved with additional support, such as visual or verbal prompts.

Schools Online opens for schools to submit student’s Life Skills outcomes on 6 August 2012.
