Official Notice: RoSAs for 2013 Year 11 school leavers

BOS 23/13

Who needs to read this notice:
Principals
Directors of studies
Careers advisers
Year 11 coordinators

Students who leave school after completing Year 10 but prior to completing the HSC receive a Record of School Achievement (RoSA) if eligible, and a Transcript of Study otherwise.

Schools can now use the new Nominate RoSA School Leavers function on Schools Online to advise the Board of any 2013 Year 11 student who is leaving school (or has already left), so that the student’s RoSA credentials can be issued.

For Year 11 students who leave school before they have completed any Preliminary courses, their RoSA will show the grades they received in their Stage 5 courses in 2012 and participation in any Stage 6 Preliminary courses in which they are enrolled at the time of leaving school. Students who leave school after completing any Preliminary courses in 2013 will also have their Year 11 grades shown on their RoSA.

Information on how to request RoSA credentials for 2013 Year 11 school leavers is available via Schools Online > Downloads > Memos and Documents > RoSA folder.

For more information regarding RoSA visit the RoSA pages on the Board’s website.
