Applications for disability provisions for the 2014 HSC examinations are open for students entered in Preliminary courses in 2013.

This is the first time that the opportunity to apply for HSC disability provisions has been made available to intending HSC students in Term 3 of Year 11.

With the early approval of disability provisions, students can enter Year 12 with confidence and certainty about their provisions. They also have an extended opportunity to practise the effective use of provisions such as a writer or rest breaks. Principals may decide to approve the same provisions for HSC internal assessment tasks.

Teachers with access authorised by their principal may lodge an online application on behalf of a student through Schools Online. After opening the folder ‘Work with Disability Provisions’ the calendar year should be set to 2013 and the cohort to HSC (Preliminary).
